The proposed strengthening of the various forms of interventionist activity by the EU, mainly through the military strength of the UN, without excluding simultaneous political or other activity by the country in question, has absolutely nothing to do with the alleged humanitarian protection of its population, as hypocritically stated in the joint resolution by the Liberals, Social Democrats and Greens. The humanitarian interest is the pretext.
Le renforcement proposé de diverses formes d’actions interventionnistes par l’UE, principalement par l’intermédiaire de la puissance militaire des Nations unies, sans exclure des actions politiques ou autres simultanées par le pays en question, n’a absolument rien à voir avec la prétendue protection humanitaire de sa population, comme le signale avec hypocrisie la résolution commune présentée par les Libéraux, les Sociaux-démocrates et les Verts.
