1. If an inspector considers that there are clear grounds for believing that a fishing vessel has committed a serious infringement under Article 31, that inspector shall promptly notify that infringement to the Commission or a body designated by it, the appropriate authorities of the flag State of the inspected fishing vessel and the flag State or States of donor vessels where the inspected vessel has engaged in transhipment operations, in accordance with Article 29(3) with a copy to the NEAFC Secretary.

Si un inspecteur estime avoir de sérieuses raisons de croire qu'un navire de pêche a commis une infraction grave au sens de l'article 31, il notifie rapidement l'infraction à la Commission ou à un organisme désigné par celle-ci, aux autorités appropriées de l'État du pavillon du navire inspecté et à l'État ou aux États du pavillon des navires donneurs lorsque le navire inspecté procède à des opérations de transbordement et, conformément à l'article 29, paragraphe 3, adresse une copie au secrétariat de la CPANE.
