As our nation moved through this maturing process, we acquired our own flag, the beautiful red and white maple leaf of which we are so proud today. We have chosen as our national anthem ``O Canada'' in which we sing about having true patriot love for our home, our native land.
Tout au long de sa maturation, le Canada s'est successivement doté de son magnifique drapeau rouge et blanc à feuille d'érable, qui fait aujourd'hui notre fierté, et il a choisi comme hymne national «ô Canada» dans lequel nous chantons notre patriotisme et l'amour du territoire national.
