With regard to the Mi'kmaq in Atlantic Canada, there are a number of important undertakings happening there, not the least of which was an act of our Parliament, the Mi'kmaq Education Act, which speaks directly to the jurisdictional authority of Mi'kmaq in Nova Scotia.
