On the face of it that may seem reasonable, but, again, I ask you to put yourself in the shoes of a police officer standing outside of a door in the middle of the night, and I ask you if he or she must conduct a new investigation, or what steps must that officer take to re-establish the reasonable and probable grounds that existed when he or she appeared before the justice of the peace?
