As a result of recent developments in the economic situation of the cotton sector in the Community, and the consequential need to carry out substantial restructuring operations immediately, and to include all ginning companies concerned, the introduction of an eight-year restructuring programming period is justified.
Compte tenu de l’évolution récente de la situation économique dans le secteur du coton au sein de la Communauté et de la nécessité qui en résulte de lancer immédiatement d’importantes opérations de restructuration et d’inclure toutes les entreprises d’égrenage concernées, il convient d’introduire une période de programmation de restructuration de huit ans.
