Époux, père, grand-père, enseignant, marin, député, ministre, sénateur, whip du gouvernement au Sénat, président du Comité sénatorial permanent des pêches et des océans, président du Comité permanent de la régie interne, auteur de nombreux livres et articles, il compose aussi des chansonnettes, dont je parlerai davantage dans un moment.
