The JRC's independence of special interests, whether private or national, combined with its technical expertise enable it to facilitate communication and consensus building between stakeholders (industry associations, environmental action groups, Member States' competent authorities, other research centres etc.) and policy makers, especially at the Community level and notably with the European Parliament.
L'indépendance du CCR vis-à-vis des intérêts particuliers, qu'ils soient privés ou nationaux, conjuguée à sa compétence technique, lui permet de faciliter la communication et la recherche de consensus entre les parties concernées (associations sectorielles, groupes d'action pour l'environnement, autorités compétentes des États membres, autres centres de recherche, etc.) et les responsables politiques, en particulier au niveau communautaire et notamment avec le Parlement européen.
