These factors have obscured the extraordinary value of the existence of the Constitution, the progress made in external policy since the crisis in Iraq, the leading role given to Parliament and consequently to the citizens, and the shortcomings of our policy for social and territorial cohesion, the failure to recognise national political diversity in Europe as well as in the Member States, which I wish to highlight as a Member of the European Parliament for Galicia and as Chairman of the Intergroup on Stateless Nations.
Ces facteurs ont assombri la valeur extraordinaire que représente l’existence d’une Constitution, les progrès accomplis en politique extérieure depuis la crise irakienne, le rôle de premier plan octroyé au Parlement et donc aux citoyens, ainsi que les lacunes de notre politique de cohésion sociale et territoriale, l’échec à reconnaître la diversité politique nationale en Europe et dans les États membres, ce que je tiens à souligner en tant que député du Parlement européen pour la Galice et en tant que président de l’intergroupe "Nations sans État".
