It should be noted however, that most of Parliament's requests with regard to monitoring, coordination and reporting have been accepted within annex IV, and in particular annex IV, paragraph 5 (reporting) provides not only for the annual progress report, but also for "additional reports" to be made available to the TACIS committee and to the European Parliament on a quarterly basis, containing the information Parliament had requested in its amendment to the original proposal.
