I. whereas upon the entry into force of the draft Commission Regulation, the producers of these absinthe variations would, as a result of this newly introduced definition of absinthe, be required either to abstain from using the term ‘absinthe’ as their sales denomination or to change their long-standing recipes, notwithstanding their traditional methods of production;
I. considérant que, si le projet de règlement de la Commission entre en vigueur, les producteurs de ces variétés d'absinthe se verront obligés, du fait de cette nouvelle définition de l'absinthe, soit à ne plus utiliser le terme «absinthe» comme dénomination de vente, soit à altérer leur recette ancestrale, abandonnant du même coup leur méthode de production traditionnelle;
