From 1994, the EIB could take over loans under the second paragraph of Article 54 for the consumption of coal and steel in major infrastructure projects, although the Commission nevertheless may wish the ECSC to contribute to major projects of pronounced Community interest provided that the loans concerned do not involve the freezing of reserves.
A partir de 1994 la BEI pourrait reprendre les prêts art. 54.2 consommation charbon et acier dans les grandes infrastructures, la Commission se réservant toutefois la possibilité d'intervention de la CECA en faveur des grands projets présentant un intérêt communautaire marqué, pour autant que les prêts concernés n'impliquent pas l'immobilisation des réserves.
