1. A claim, notice or appeal regarding eligibility for a pension, or, the amount of, a pension, under the legislation of a Party which should, for the purposes of that legislation, have been submitted within a prescribed period to a competent authority or competent institution of that Party, but which is submitted within the same period to a competent authority or competent institution of the other Party, shall be treated as if it had been submitted to the competent authority or institution of the first Party.

Une demande, un avis ou un appel concernant l’admissibilité à une pension ou le montant d’une pension, qui aux termes de la législation d’une Partie aurait dû être présenté dans un délai prescrit à l’autorité compétente ou à l’institution compétente de cette Partie, mais qui est présenté dans le même délai à l’autorité compétente ou à l’institution compétente de l’autre Partie, est traité comme s’il avait été présenté à l’autorité compétente ou à l’institution compétente de la première Partie.
