The "cut-off" shall be a horizontal straight line on the side opposite to the direction of the traffic for which the headlamp is intended ; on the other side it should be horizontal or within an angle of 15 % above the horizontal (1)It is considered that an arrangement satisfies the requirements of this section when the filament lamp can be easily fitted into the headlamp and the positioning lug can be correctly fitted into its slot even in darkness, the slot being of exactly the right size.
