There have been disputes in the brief lifespan of the World Trade Organization as it exists on reformulated gas imported into the U.S. in conflict with the Clean Air Act, on the use of beef growth hormones on beef imported into Europe, on the catching of turtles in the production of shrimp in southeast Asia, and currently on the importation of asbestos into the European Community from Canada.
