14. espère que le processus de préadhésion profitera à la couche la plus pauvre de la société roumaine, qui ne dispose pas, en de nombreux lieux, des commodités essentielles, telles qu'eau courante et toilettes; invite la Commission à analyser attentivement les statistiques sanitaires des Nations unies et de l'OMS et à apporter son soutien aux mesures visant à améliorer les conditions de vie en Roumanie;
14. Hopes that the pre-accession process will show its benefits to the lower strata of society in Romania, where in many areas simple civilisational assets are missing, such as running water and lavatory systems; calls on the Commission to carefully analyse health statistics of the UN and the WHO and support measures to improve the living conditions in Romania;
