Rick Laliberte (Rivière Churchill, NPD): Monsieur le Président, j'aimerais intervenir pour m'opposer à cet amendement qui permet, en somme, à l'office d'effectuer les placements qui lui plaisent dans le but de parvenir à un rendement élevé dans les marchés internationaux et peut-être aussi dans les marchés intérieurs, mais on ne tient aucunement compte ici de ce qui est typiquement canadien.
Mr. Rick Laliberte (Churchill River, NDP): Mr. Speaker, I would like to speak against the amendment which basically targets the investments of the board on a high return on international markets and possibly domestic markets, but there is no consciousness of Canadian here.
