La Commission a été saisie de nombreuses plaintes de citoyens dénonçant l’obligation, en France, de présenter au moment de la demande d’immatriculation, non seulement le certificat CE, mais également une « attestation d’identification » du véhicule délivrée soit par le constructeur, soit directement par les services techniques de l’administration française (DRIRE).
The Commission has received numerous complaints from citizens against the obligation which exists in France on persons applying for the registration of a vehicle to present, as part of their application, not only the EC certificate, but also a certificate of vehicle identification issued either by the manufacturer or directly by the French state technical services (DRIRE).
