What I am really getting at is whether, in your experience, jurists and people involved with the administration of justice in areas where they interface with the civil law of Quebec and the common law and especially the maritime law — and the maritime law of Canada is the common law of maritime law going back to the laws of Oleron in 1500 — have some acceptance now.
