Suite à l'ouverture de la procédure de l'article 93 du paragraphe 2 du Traité CEE en juillet 1989(1), la Commission a pris une décision finale négative à l'encontre d'un projet d'aide nationale en faveur de la S.A. Sucrerie Couplet à Brunehaut-Wez en Belgique, concernant la construction d'une perlerie pour la fabrication de sucre perlé et de sucre fondant (secteur de la pâtisserie-confiserie).
Following its opening in July 1989 of the procedure provided for in Article 93(2) of the EEC Treaty,1 the Commission has adopted a negative final decision concerning a national proposal to grant aid to S.A. Sucrerie Couplet at Brunehaut-Wez in Belgium for the construction of a "pearl" sugar production unit intended for the manufacture of "perlé" and "fondant" sugars (used in pastrymaking and confectionery).
