292 (1) If repaying a loan, in accordance with the requirements of section 291, that was made to a person under section 289 would, by reason of the person's income, assets and liabilities, cause the person financial hardship, an officer may, to the extent necessary to relieve that hardship but subject to subsection (2), defer the commencement of the repayment of the loan, defer payments on the loan, vary the amount of the payments or extend the repayment period.
292 (1) Si la personne à qui un prêt a été consenti en vertu l’article 289 ne peut, compte tenu de son revenu, de ses biens et de ses responsabilités, rembourser son prêt conformément à l’article 291 sans que cela lui occasionne des difficultés financières, l’agent peut, sous réserve du paragraphe (2), différer le début du remboursement du prêt ou le paiement du prêt, en modifier le montant ou prolonger le délai de remboursement dans la mesure nécessaire pour lui éviter de telles difficultés.
