The Commission intends to implement the Council request[12] to explore synergies between the European Energy Policy and the integrated maritime policy in order to promote more energy generation from the sea, in particular wave, tide, currents and thermal gradient sources, including from the Atlantic.
La Commission envisage de mettre en application la demande du Conseil[12] de rechercher des synergies entre la politique énergétique européenne et la politique maritime intégrée en encourageant la production d'énergie en mer, en particulier l'énergie houlomotrice, marémotrice, des courants marins et du gradient thermique, y compris dans l'Atlantique.
