– (IT) Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, I should like to say that I voted in favour of the van Nistelrooij report, but I would also take this opportunity, for the benefit of the few spectators who remain, to say that, if, instead of continuing to go around the European Union and around their constituencies speaking ill of the Union, those Members of this House who today so roundly criticised the European Union and its procedural method were to provide much more objective information, this would undoubtedly create a completely different atmosphere.
– (IT) Monsieur le Président, Mesdames et Messieurs, j’aimerais dire que j’ai voté en faveur du rapport van Nistelrooij, mais j’aimerais profiter de cette occasion, à l’attention des quelques spectateurs qui restent, pour dire qu’au lieu de courir l’Union européenne et leurs circonscriptions en dénigrant l’Union européenne, les membres de cette Assemblée qui ont aujourd’hui critiqué si vivement l’Union européenne et ses procédures feraient mieux de nous fournir des informations nettement plus objectives; ceci créerait indubitablement une atmosphère complètement différente.
