En l'espèce, il s'agit d'élargir, conformément à l'évolution des techniques et des pratiques d'édulcoration depuis 1991, la liste des pratiques d'édulcoration prévues pour les vermouths – en les alignant sur ce que prévoit déjà l'annexe I – et de changer la définition du vin aromatisé à l'œuf, dans l'espoir de l'adapter à l'absence de méthode spécifique pour le dosage du cholestérol.
Specifically, on account of developments in sweetening techniques and practices since 1991, the list of sweetening methods allowed for vermouth should be extended to bring it into line with the practices already provided for in Annex I, and the definition of egg-based aromatised wine should be changed in view of the fact that there is no specific method for measuring its cholesterol content.
