J'ai été très impressionné de vivre cette expérience, d'être pris au milieu d'un raid de bombardement, d'entendre le mitraillage au sol des avions, d'aller jusqu'au front et d'y voir des soldats blessés, d'être suffisamment près pour entendre le ta ta ta ta des mitraillettes dans l'obscurité de la jungle.
To go through this experience, to get caught in a bombing raid, to hear the airplanes doing the strafing, to go up to a war front and see wounded soldiers, and to be close enough to hear the rat-a-tat-tat of machines guns in the darkness of a jungle night, it certainly had an impression on me.
