6. Calls on the Commission and the Member States to enhance synergies and links with other relevant international organisations and Conventions, in particular the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety; considers, however, that the Aarhus Convention is the appropriate forum for deliberating on horizontal principles of public access to information, participation and access to justice in environmental matters;
6. invite la Commission et les États membres à renforcer les synergies et les liens avec d'autres organisations et conventions internationales pertinentes, notamment le protocole de Cartagena sur la prévention des risques biotechnologiques; estime, toutefois, que la convention d'Århus est le forum compétent pour délibérer sur des principes horizontaux en matière d'accès du public à l'information, de participation et d'accès à la justice pour les questions relatives à l'environnement;
