Standby Level (Off Mode): The power consumption level in the lowest power mode which cannot be switched off (influenced) by the user and that may persist for an indefinite time when the appliance is connected to the main electricity supply and used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. For purposes of this specification, Standby correlates to ACPI System Level S4 or S5 states, where applicable.
Mode «attente» («arrêt»): mode correspondant au niveau de consommation électrique le plus faible qui, sans pouvoir être interrompu (ou influencé) par l'utilisateur, puisse être maintenu pour une durée indéterminée lorsque l'appareil est branché sur le secteur et utilisé selon les instructions du constructeur. Aux fins des présentes spécifications, le mode «attente» correspond, s'il y a lieu, aux états S4 ou S5 (hibernation) de la norme ACPI.
