2. Norway and Iceland, on the one hand, and the European Union, on behalf of any of its Member States, on the other hand, may, at the time of the notification provided for in Article 38(1), make a statement indicating that, as executing State, the State will continue to apply the extradition system applicable before the entry into force of this Agreement in relation to acts committed before a date which it specifies.
2. La Norvège et l'Islande, d'une part, et l'Union européenne, au nom de n'importe lequel de ses États membres, d'autre part, peuvent, lors de la notification visée à l'article 38, paragraphe 1, faire une déclaration indiquant que, en tant qu'État d'exécution, l'État continuera d'appliquer le régime d'extradition d'application avant l'entrée en vigueur du présent accord pour ce qui est des actes commis avant une date qu'il précise.
