Now that the Council has, in the referenda, been sent a clear signal from the public, I call upon it to get its priorities right by accepting what Parliament has proposed through its rapporteur and, in the European Budget, taking public participation particularly seriously, as well as education and culture.
Maintenant que le Conseil a reçu, au travers des référendums, un signal clair de la part de la population, je l’invite à bien fixer ses priorités en acceptant ce que le Parlement a proposé par l’intermédiaire de son rapporteur et, s’agissant du budget européen, à prendre la participation des citoyens particulièrement au sérieux, tout autant que l’éducation et la culture.
