2. In multi-firing units using the distillation and conversion residues from crude-oil refining for own consumption, alone or with other fuels, the provisions for the fuel with the highest emission limit value (determinative fuel) shall apply, notwithstanding paragraph 1 above, if during the operation of the combustion plant the proportion contributed by that fuel to the sum of the thermal inputs delivered by all fuels is at least 50 %.

Dans les installations de combustion équipées d'un foyer mixte qui utilisent les résidus de distillation et de conversion du raffinage du pétrole brut, seuls ou avec d'autres combustibles, pour leur consommation propre, les dispositions relatives au combustible ayant la valeur limite d'émission la plus élevée ( combustible déterminant ) sont d'application, nonobstant les dispositions du paragraphe 1, si, pendant le fonctionnement de l'installation, la proportion de chaleur fournie par ce combustible est d'au moins 50 % par rapport à la somme des puissances thermiques fournies par tous les combustibles .
