As the EU Bank, the EIB plays a key role in the EIP, notably via its implementation of the Resilience Initiative in the Southern Neighbourhood and Western Balkans (see above), the EIB External Lending Mandate and the EIB's operations in Africa under the ACP Investment Facility.
En sa qualité de banque de l'UE, la BEI joue un rôle clé dans le PIE, notamment avec la mise en œuvre de l'initiative «résilience» dans le voisinage méridional et les Balkans occidentaux (voir plus haut), le mandat extérieur de la BEI et les opérations qu'elle mène en Afrique dans le cadre de la facilité d'investissement pour les pays ACP.
