Now celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Heritage Canada Foundation, better known as Heritage Canada and not to be confused with the Department of Canadian Heritage, was created in 1973 by the federal government as a national not-for-profit charitable foundation to promote the preservation of the built heritage of Canada.
La Fondation canadienne pour la protection du patrimoine, mieux connue sous l'appellation Héritage Canada, à ne pas confondre avec le ministère du Patrimoine canadien, célèbre cette année son 25 anniversaire. L'organisme a été créé en 1973 par le gouvernement fédéral à titre de fondation de bienfaisance sans but lucratif aillant pour mandat de favoriser la conservation du patrimoine bâti du Canada.
