Finally, as far as the proposal for an annual report on illiteracy to Parliament is concerned, we want to look at the most efficient way of informing Parliament and what use Parliament can make of reports on national action plans on social integration and reports via the open method of coordination, i.e. how existing means, reports which are drafted every year anyway, how this dimension can be used so that the information provided is exponential and more efficient.
Enfin, en ce qui concerne la proposition de transmettre au Parlement un rapport annuel sur l’illettrisme, nous examinerons la meilleure manière d’informer efficacement le Parlement et nous verrons dans quelle mesure le Parlement ne pourrait pas utiliser les rapports sur les plans nationaux d’action en matière d’intégration sociale ainsi que les rapports dans le cadre de la méthode ouverte de coordination. Autrement dit, nous pourrions ici aussi utiliser des moyens existants, des rapports qui sont de toute façon rédigés chaque année, de manière à ce que les informations fournies soient multiples et plus efficaces.
