In order to increase both the general awareness about NTBs and motivate businesses and public authorities to fight against them, the Commission should also gather information from WTO, OECD, and any other relevant international trade organisation on work done or ongoing about a possible correlation between the existence of NTBs and resulting loss of potential market shares and the impact of this in terms of potential, or actual job losses.
Afin de sensibiliser davantage le public aux obstacles non tarifaires et d'inciter les entreprises et les autorités publiques à lutter contre ceux-ci, la Commission devrait collecter des informations de l'OMC, de l'OCDE et d'autres organisations commerciales internationales compétentes sur le travail accompli, ou en cours, dans la recherche d'un éventuel lien entre, d'une part, les obstacles non tarifaires et les pertes de parts de marché potentielles qui en résultent et, d'autre part, les pertes d'emplois potentielles ou effectives.
