(a) where animals of a particular class of animal were included in the inventory of a taxpayer at the end of the taxation year immediately preceding the first year in respect of which the taxpayer elected under subsection (1), the unit price of an animal of that class shall be computed by dividing the total value of all animals of the class in the inventory of the preceding year by the number of animals of the class described in that inventory; and
a) lorsque des animaux d’une catégorie d’animaux particulière figuraient à l’inventaire d’un contribuable, à la fin de l’année d’imposition précédant immédiatement la première année à l’égard de laquelle le contribuable a exercé un choix en vertu du paragraphe (1), on calcule le prix unitaire d’un animal de cette catégorie en divisant la valeur totale de tous les animaux de la catégorie, figurant à l’inventaire de l’année précédente, par le nombre des animaux de la catégorie figurant à cet inventaire;
