At the current juncture, even though the appreciation of the exchange rate of the euro will contribute to easing inflationary pressures, we will continue to closely monitor all relevant developments, against the background of the risks that the deviations from price stability, which followed the exceptional clustering of upward shocks on inflation over the past couple of years, may be transmitted into longer-term inflation expectations, thereby potentially affecting wage and price-setting behaviour.
Dans la conjoncture actuelle, même si l'appréciation du taux de change de l'euro contribuera à relâcher les pressions inflationnistes, nous continuerons de suivre de près toutes les évolutions concernées, dans le contexte des risques que les écarts par rapport à la stabilité des prix, qui ont suivi, ces quelques dernières années, la série exceptionnelle de chocs haussiers sur l'inflation, puissent être transmis dans les anticipations en matière d'inflation à long terme, affectant dès lors potentiellement le comportement en matière de formation des prix et des salaires.
