20. Hails the announcement in 2009 by Nepal that it would support the draft United Nations principles and guidelines to eliminate caste discrimination but expresses its concern over the continuing practice of bonded labour, notably in Kamaiya, Haruwa and Charuwa, as well as the worrying situation of the millions of landless people, which is in danger of deteriorating further under the impact of climate change, and calls on the government and the parties to encourage the functioning of the Revolutionary Land Reform Commission;
20. se félicite de l'engagement pris par le Népal en 2009 de soutenir le projet de principes et de lignes directrices des Nations unies visant à éliminer la discrimination de caste, mais s'inquiète de la persistance du travail asservi, notamment sous forme de Kamaiya, Haruwa et Charuwa, ainsi que de la situation des millions de paysans sans terre, qui pourrait encore se détériorer en raison des conséquences du changement climatique; demande au gouvernement et aux parties de veiller au bon fonctionnement de la commission de la réforme agraire révolutionnaire;
