The second reason I was almost speechless is he went to great lengths and I know if we read the blues of the Hansard once again, we too will be surprised and actually said that this bill was one of three bills that came from a Liberal government, that it deserved the attention it has received, that it has been passed in two forms so far, and a third one is coming up, because are members ready for this the government has received the cooperation of members of Parliament who want to make Parliament work.
La deuxième raison pour laquelle le discours du secrétaire parlementaire m'a presque laissé sans voix — et si nous consultons les bleus du hansard, nous serons nous aussi surpris —, c'est qu'il a déclaré que le projet de loi comptait parmi trois projets de loi provenant du gouvernement libéral. Il a dit que le projet de loi méritait l'attention qu'il a reçue, qu'il avait été adopté sous deux incarnations jusqu'à présent et qu'une troisième s'en venait, car, tenez-vous bien, le gouvernement a joui de l'appui des députés qui veulent que le Parlement fonctionne.
