1. Should application of the common customs tariff duty rate depend on the entry price of the imported consignment, the veracity of this price shall be checked using a flat-rate import value calculated by the Commission, by product and by origin, on the basis of the weighted average of prices for the product on Member States’ representative import markets or on other markets, where appropriate.

Dans la mesure où l’application des droits du tarif douanier commun dépend du prix d’entrée du lot importé, la réalité de ce prix est vérifiée à l’aide d’une valeur forfaitaire à l’importation, calculée par la Commission, par origine et par produit, sur la base de la moyenne pondérée des cours des produits concernés sur les marchés d’importation représentatifs des États membres ou, le cas échéant, sur d’autres marchés.
