As regards the location of the Authority, I would stress once again that it is appropriate to locate it in an agricultural area with strong traditions, which is also a crossroads between Mediterranean and Continental Europe, which has a great and established agri-food tradition, and is the seat of a university and a centre of specialised agri-food research.
Pour ce qui est du siège de l'Autorité, je rappellerai encore une fois l'opportunité de l'établir dans une région agricole aux grandes traditions et qui soit un point de rencontre entre le bassin méditerranéen et le continent, une zone qui possède une solide tradition agroalimentaire, qui soit une ville universitaire et qui abrite des centres de recherche spécialisés dans ce domaine.
