In addition to these two rules, article 82f of the German tax code foresees a specific rule, only applicable to aircraft and ships, according to which companies who have opted for the linear method for the depreciation of a particular asset may, in the five years following the purchase of this asset, add to the percentage of depreciation allowed under the linear method a supplementary percentage as high as 30 per cent of the total value of this asset.
Outre ces deux règles, l'article 82f du code fiscal allemand prévoit une règle spéciale, applicable uniquement aux aéronefs et aux navires, qui permet aux compagnies ayant choisi la méthode linéaire d'ajouter au taux de dépréciation prévu par cette méthode un pourcentage supplémentaire, pouvant atteindre 30 pour cent de la valeur totale de l'actif concerné, pendant les cinq ans suivant son acquisition.
