In regard to the idea of having one airline, of course, it would be wonderful if we could come up with the solution or look into a crystal ball and see a solution for one airline in this country, whereby Canadian and Air Canada could come together and serve both the domestic market and the international market, again, without the domestic market, or those who would jump on a plane and fly to Ottawa at exorbitant prices because there was no competition—at that level of service, I might add.
Pour ce qui est d'avoir un seul transporteur, ce serait merveilleux si nous pouvions lire l'avenir dans une boule de cristal et trouver une solution permettant à Canadien et Air Canada de se fusionner et de desservir tous les deux le marché national ainsi que le marché international au lieu que ceux qui prennent l'avion pour se rendre à Ottawa constatent que le prix du billet est exorbitant parce qu'il n'y a pas de concurrence.
