Not later than 1 January 2006, the Commission shall submit to the Council of Ministers and to the European Parliament a report, drawn up on the basis of an opinion from the Scientific Veterinary Committee, on the systems of rearing for keeping laying hens which comply with the requirements of the welfare of laying hens from the pathological, zootechnical, physiological, behavioural and socio-economic point of view, together with appropriate proposals to phase out those systems of rearing which do not meet these requirements.
Au plus tard le 1er janvier 2006, la Commission soumettra au Conseil des ministres et au Parlement européen un rapport, élaboré sur la base d'un avis du comité scientifique vétérinaire, sur les systèmes d'élevage des poules pondeuses qui respectent les exigences de bien-être des volailles d'un point de vue pathologique, zootechnique, physiologique, comportemental et socio-économique, assorti de propositions appropriées visant au démantèlement des systèmes d'élevage ne satisfaisant pas à ces conditions.
