It seems difficult to understand that while there was a promoter, a private group, the Asper Foundation, driving the initiative to have that museum established — which I think is totally commendable and Canadians should be grateful to the Asper family for that — the moment the Asper family raised multi-millions of dollars to realize the museum, the government stepped in.
J'ai du mal à comprendre qu'il intervienne, alors qu'il existait un promoteur, un groupe privé, la Fondation Asper, qui animait cette initiative de création d'un musée. C'est tout à fait louable, et les Canadiens doivent en être reconnaissants à la famille Asper.
