A new manufacturer of a bulky building material in the United Kingdom complained to the Commission in July that, after it had bought second-hand machines for manufacturing this material, the German manufacturer of that machine refused to supply it with spare parts. It alleged that this was done in order to protect another building material manufacturer in the neighbourhood from this new competitor.
Un nouveau fabricant britannique de gros matériaux de construction s'est plaint à la Commission, en juillet, qu'après avoir acheté des machines d'occasion pour fabriquer ces matériaux, le constructeur allemand des machines a refusé de lui fournir les pièces de rechange; ce fabricant a estimé que c'était pour protéger un autre fabricant de matériaux de construction du voisinage contre cette concurrence nouvelle.
