Currently, there is no provision in the CGA act of incorporation for a French name. However, such a name is important for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that CGA-Canada is a participant in major international fora that deal with the setting of accounting standards.
Cette dénomination est importante pour plusieurs raisons, notamment le fait que CGA-Canada participe aux grands forums internationaux chargés d'établir les normes comptables, d'où la nécessité d'avoir une dénomination en français et en anglais si elle veut promouvoir le travail qu'elle accomplit au sein de ces forums.
