Relations between the European Union and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste are governed by the partnership agreement between members of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States of the one part and the European Union and its Member States of the other part, known as the Cotonou Agreement, to which the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste acceded shortly after gaining independence.
Les relations entre l’Union européenne et la République démocratique du Timor-Oriental sont régies par l’accord de partenariat entre les membres du groupe des États d'Afrique, des Caraïbes et du Pacifique d'une part et l'Union européenne et ses États membres d'autre part, appelé "Accord de Cotonou", dont la République démocratique du Timor-Oriental est devenue membre très peu de temps après son indépendance.
