I will be supporting amendments tabled by my group, which aim to improve the formulation of industrial food products, to call for restrictions on the marketing of fast food, rich in sugar, fat or salt, to children, especially by TV advertising, to improve standards within schools in order to improve food and cooking knowledge, and to reduce junk food marketing within schools.
J’appuierai les amendements déposés par mon groupe, qui améliorent la composition des produits alimentaires industriels, qui exigent des restrictions quant à la promotion de la nourriture rapide, riche en sucre, en graisses ou en sel, destinée aux enfants, surtout la publicité télévisée, et qui améliorent les normes relatives aux écoles pour renforcer les connaissances alimentaires et culinaires, mais aussi réduire la commercialisation d’aliments «camelotes» en milieu scolaire.
