To our request that they intervene in the dispute on the Edible Oil Product Act, because of the finding of the Federal/Provincial/Territorial Agri-Food Inspection Committee that the federal government should be regulating and the provinces should de-regulate, we were told by the federal government that their intervention ``would not be helpful'.
