You really want to emphasize that, but as we now know through development theory, as the child starts to reach out and socialize and need the presence of other children, the very thing that was desirable in the first year of life, which is close bonding and contact, and sensory pathways, as Fraser Mustard would say, all of that stuff then becomes less important relative to the need of children and the parents to work in groups, both in groups of children and groups of parents.
